How To Be A Disney Influencer

This article will discuss how to be a Disney influencer, the process, and some of the best tips you can follow.
Ever since I was little, I had my little Disney fantasies. Whether it be taking that whimsical walk through the Disney Magical World of Dreams show or just lounging on my bed and watching Aladdin over and over.
But after all these years of dreaming and seeing how the company has developed, it’s a pretty hard brand to hate on. Especially if you have a Disney obsession (like myself), I would definitely say Disney has become much more than just a piece of entertainment and merchandise.
I mean, even The Lion King has been adapted into a Broadway show that won a Tony for Best Musical.
We have the Disney College Program, they have their own Disney character loyalty program, you can get an exclusive discount at Disney World and more. So why shouldn’t we be making the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity?
What better way to do this than by becoming a Disney influencer, joining Disney’s own line of YouTubers?
What does it mean to be a Disney influencer?
Basically, it means you get paid to talk about your passion and favorite Disney Parks. That sounds pretty easy, right?
But it’s not. Think of it like any other job.
You have to network and be a team player with your co-workers, which is hard to do when you’re away from your families for months at a time. Disney influencers get to go on special events like the “Summer of Fantasy” at Disney World as well as those in Tokyo.
During the year they also have a couple of web series that you can watch. A few of the most popular ones are:
Paparazzi Edition
These guys are the least popular YouTube channel of the group and are mostly known for their ridiculous antics. They usually post videos of them, together with their female companions, being silly or doing a variety of things like selfies. They also frequently post clips where they catch celebrities in their tracks and try to get them to say things that are not on the approved script.
That’s all you really need to know about the entertainment company’s online talent. But let’s go over the others.
Here is a list of Disney influencers that have been successful with their chosen line of work.
Jake and Logan
If you didn’t know, they are the brothers who are best known for being the singers of the band Pentatonix. They made a name for themselves in the world of Disney and have even released their own Disney album. Some of the songs they’ve worked on are:
- I’ll See You in My Dreams
- It’s A Small World (After All)
- My Funny Valentine
- Don’t Wake Me Up
- Can You Feel The Love Tonight
They currently have an album titled Can You Feel The Love Tonight that’s currently available on Amazon.
The Ariel Cousins
The youngest of the group is super young. She’s only two years old but is already on her way to becoming a celebrity. Her father, Josh Cousins, is also her manager.
She has a YouTube channel where she’s active for the majority of the day. Some of the videos she makes include:
- Stuck Inside the Bubble
- Hello Baby
- See Ya Bye Bye
She also makes short videos with her parents called #dreamaboutdaddy. These are just a few of the videos that Josh and Jake send her home with before she heads back to the parks.
Disney’s corporate cast members
Although it’s not a regular job, there are quite a few people who have made it their own. You see, when you’re a cast member at Disney World or Disneyland, you work for the entertainment company and are given the opportunity to have your photos in and around the parks.
Just to give you an idea, it’s safe to say that there are a couple of hundred thousand Disney cast members. A lot of them have their own personal social media pages where you can see some of their most well-known photos, which is where they are marketing their talents.
Many are also Disney fanatics who take it upon themselves to make their own Disney videos.
Others are quite the huge fans of the parks and share that they have a favorite attraction or a hidden Mickey inside their backyard. There are also some who like to share what they’re up to with their friends or family, along with their everyday lives, on Instagram.
That’s it for this list. Obviously, there are a ton of other Disney influencers who are making money from it and have a lot of followers. So how can you be one of them?
